Owasso Announces Tryouts for Basketball and Volleyball Teams
The Owasso Rams athletics department has announced tryout dates for the 2025-2026 seasons for boys and girls basketball and girls volleyball teams. Young athletes eager to join these competitive squads will have their chance to showcase their skills in the coming weeks.
Boys Basketball Tryouts
The Owasso Rams boys basketball team, who finished last season with a 24-5 record and secured the Tournament of Champions title, is set to hold tryouts in early May.
Tryout Dates and Locations:
8th Grade: Monday and Tuesday, May 5th and May 6th, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the 7th Grade Gym.
9th Grade and High School: Wednesday, May 7th, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the High School Practice Gym.

Girls Basketball Tryouts
The Lady Rams basketball team, who wrapped up last season with a 17-12 record, looks to build a roster to take the next step in playoff contention.
Tryout Dates and Locations:
7th and 8th Grade: Tuesday and Wednesday, April 29th and April 30th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the 6th Grade Gym.
9th-12th Grade: Thursday, May 1st, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the High School Practice Gym.

With the Lady Rams volleyball team ending their last season with a notable 25-14 record, the 2025-2026 roster promises to bring even more talent to the court.
Tryout Dates and Locations:
7th Grade: Tuesday and Wednesday, April 15th and April 16th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the High School East Gym.
8th Grade: Tuesday and Wednesday, April 22nd and April 23rd, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the High School East Gym.
9th-12th Grade: Friday, May 2nd, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the High School East Gym.
